Monkey Preschool Lunchbox (best Android apps for kids)

At the time of this writing, Monkey Preschool Lunchbox ($1.99) is No. 1 in educational apps in the Amazon Android store - and with good reason. It's a very good and simple app that helps teach about colors, letters, counting, differences and matching in a funny and exciting way. Did I mention the monkey?

One of things I look for in most apps is what I call "energy," by which I mean music, sound, movement. Is there enough energy to keep a child interested. Well, Monkey Preschool has all that and more. Other than a large play button, the app has no menus, settings or grades of any kind. It doesn't even end. It's an endless look of monkey-induced fun.
