Pocket Penguins (best free educational Android apps for kids)

Let's face it: penguins are funny. They look like a bird that someone overfilled with air, but left the head and wings the original size. Their bodies are so big compared to their feet that they can't walk so they waddle. They can't fly but are amazing swimmers.

California Academy of Sciences has brought all that penguin fun home to your Android device with Pocket Penguins which provides three different live streaming views of a group of African penguins: main, underwater and biologist. The biologist answers questions from visitors during meal time at 10:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. PST.

Well worth a download, although when I tested the app all they did was stand around.
