PBS Parents (best free Android apps for kids)
Just released towards the end of June 2013, the PBS Parents Android app offers 13 games and 52 activities for kids and parents or educators. The app includes both on and off app tasks, including some that at child can play by themselves (sorting and stickers for example) and some that are simply ideas for educational parent-child interaction at various places like a playground, grocery story, etc.
Great and unique app in both English and Spanish.
