Excellently presented, the storybook section of The Nut Job has scenes from the movie and highlighted narrated text. Narration can be turned off and each word is tap-to-read to support emergent readers. There are six coloring pages that can be colored with brushes, crayons, chalk, spary or bucket and then decorated with stickers. They can also be cleared and re-done, work can be undone and the final artwork can be saved into the device's gallery. There is even a zoom in function for fine detail work!

The Nut Job four mini-games will have your child whacking a rat, clearing nut tiles like a Candy Crush game, slinging nuts Angry Birds style, and saving nuts from falling into the drain. All of the mini-games have verbal instructions and your child's achievements are recorded on a leaderboard. The Nut Job has volume controls for the music, sound effects and voice and there is even a trailer of the movie in case you were not already convinced to go and watch it! Loads of fun and learning to be had with The Nut Job, and a fantastic bargain for FREE. Get it now!
