The Chord Dictionary is extremely comprehensive, with every possible chord laid out in an easy access menu (see first screenshot). Very easy to use, easy to change the root and the inversion and there are staff and keyboard images to display the chord while it is played. Play the chord or play it as an arpeggio! Reverse Chord Lookup displays a five octave keyboard for the user to tap on the keys and find the name of the chord (see second screenshot). Scales Dictionary displays over 500 scales! Like I said, there is the option to simply things so the user is not overwhelmed. Reverse Scale Lookup, like the Reverse Chord Lookup displays a keyboard that the user can choose notes on to find out the name of the scale. Circle of Fifths shows the corresponding fifth chords as a circle, as well as listing it by notes and displaying it on a staff and a keyboard. Chord Progression (see fifth screenshot) gives the option to progress through chosen chords as if they were played on a piano. More rows can be added and with so many options to change the pattern, speed, time signature and key signature the perfect composition can be created right here!

Piano Companion is a must have app for music students and teachers alike. It has everything, I mean everything you need to reference chords and scales. The ability to have favorites and a user library for quick reference make this very user friendly.
