Rudy and Cirrus of Karma (best free Android kids apps)

Stories are a great way to introduce concepts to children and this story is all about taking responsibility for your own actions. Rudy and Cirrus of Karma tells the story of a boy who is rather mean to the members of his family. He is the kind of kid who everyone finds annoying and who needs some serious behaviour management strategies. The final straw comes when he breaks his mother's new vase. I am sure that all children can relate to that moment of temptation to lie about an accidental breakage of someone else's belongings. Why get in trouble for something that was not done on purpose? Rudy and Cirrus of Karma will enthrall your children and have them reading it again and again while reinforcing an important message about taking responsibility for our actions.

Good storybook apps are just about my favorite thing to have on my phone and tablet. I love sharing stories with my kids at any time of the day, but I especially love being able to read stories in bed with the light off. This story, however, is probably best read with the light on. Cirrus the ghostly figure, and Rudy's siblings who are transformed into rather frightening looking characters, may be a little too thrilling for some children. There are 27 pages of fantastic illustrations and rhyming text in Rudy and Cirrus of Karma. My favorite part in the book is when Rudy says "Whaaaahaat the huh?" but you will need to download the book and find out why he says that! Fully free with no ads, in-app purchases or external links makes this a definite download. Get it now!
