It's a Dr Panda Sale Bonanza! (best Android kids apps)

To coincide with the release of their new app, Tribe Play are offering Dr Panda apps for 50% off! Check out Rachel's review of Dr Panda Toy Cars >>HERE<< and see below for all the apps on sale. Please support Smart Apps For Android by using our download links and by sharing this post with your family and friends.

Dr. Panda's Supermarket NOW $0.99 was $1.99

Dr Panda is a big favorite in our household and shopping is also a favorite activity of my girls. My oldest daughter prefers real shops, but my younger daughter loves to role-play shopping with her toy till and pretend groceries. Now she will be able to play-shop on the go! Dr Panda's Supermarket has a series of mini-games for children to practice matching, fine-motor control, problem solving, categorizing and spatial awareness.

Dr. Panda's Hospital NOW $0.99 was $1.99

The full version of Dr. Panda's Hospital ($1.99) is an app that we rated as one of our Top Picks for the iPad/iPhone. Dr. Panda's Hospital allows children to play veterinarian in a fun and amusing way. The limited version has three animals, three doctoring activities and I'm sure three of several other things. More than enough to keep an early toddler/preschooler entertained for quite some time.

Dr. Panda's Daycare NOW $0.99 was $1.99

I've mentioned before what a big fan of the Dr. Panda apps I am. We've featured Dr. Panda's Restaurant, Handyman, Dr Panda's Hospital and Dr Panda's Beauty Salon, but we haven't posted about the opportunity for Android kids to work at their own Dr. Panda Daycare! Dr. Panda Daycare is one of our Top Picks on the iPad/iPhone site and Eleanor bottom-lined it this way: A creative role-playing game full of cute critters and fun interactivity. Make them nap, eat, swim and play music at the whim of your preschooler's fingertip. If only real children were so compliant.

Dr. Panda's Beauty Salon NOW $0.99 was $1.99

Tribeplay has released another app that's part of their excellent Dr. Panda series. In Dr. Panda's Beauty Salon, children can paint cow fingernails, pluck sheep nose hairs and even put lipstick on a pig! The Dr. Pandas are all very good and if a beauty salon won't be your child's thing they also have a restaurant, hospital (where the name Dr. Panda originated), daycare, veggie garden and supermarket.

Dr. Panda's Garage NOW $0.99 was $1.99

Clean, customize and cruise around in 6 different vehicles in Dr. Panda’s Garage! In Dr. Panda’s Garage you can use spray paint, sirens, wings and even robotic legs to customize all sorts of cars and trucks. Paint a school bus blue, put a propeller on a police car and even give a race car rockets! Once you’re done customizing your car, you’ll even be given the chance to test drive! The game also includes a number of car-themed minigames like pumping gas and using a hose to spray and clean!

Dr. Panda's Veggie Garden NOW $0.99 was $1.99

It’s actually a pretty good lesson in agriculture. Children learn about watering, fertilizing, and even rotating plants so that they receive the most sunlight. My kids have had the pleasure of growing in our own garden and a community garden, but for the more urban among their playset the mere fact that the game shows the progress from dirt to seed to plant to fruit to harvest may be a revelation.

Dr. Panda, Teach Me! NOW $0.99 was $1.99

This installment is a bit different from the others. Rather than children role-playing as a doctor, cook, daycare provider, etc. in this app they play four educational mini-games: learn to count, animal puzzles, find the different one, and big and small. The full version has 10 mini-games and is well worth the purchase.
