Words 2048 - a word puzzle game just as engrossing as its big brother number game (good Free Android games)

A few weeks ago, I confessed to y’all my obsession with a little game called 2048. That number game consumed hour upon hour of my free time (and as a mom, I really mean that I played it in the car pick-up line every day). I have to admit, though, that I have yet to best it. So, I thought it wise to put it on a shelf for a while to preserve my sanity.

But now I've stumbled across something that is quite possibly worse/better/worse. In Words 2048, they've gone and created a puzzle game that uses the same slide-and-combine method of play, only you combine letters to (eventually) create words.

Each round you are given a word with a letter or letters highlighted that you have to get to complete the level. So, it’s A+A=B and B+B=C and so on to get to the letters that you need. The C in cat was simple, and the E in apple was no problem. Will I ever get to the X in xylophone, though? I’m just making that up, I have no idea if they use the word xylophone… but I figure that I might spend a part of my Memorial Day finding out.

Oh, and did I mention it is Free?

There are small ads at the top of the page while playing, but they don’t interfere with play. No in-app purchases. External links to social media. Adjust your device settings accordingly.

Kelli's youngest is away from home for the first time ever. Kelli is apparently a lot more affected by this than her youngest is.
